Medical Engineering Technologist I Job KMTC
Medical Jobs, KMTC Jobs. Medical Engineering Technologist I installs, maintains, and repairs hospital medical equipment, requires a Medical/Biomedical Engineering Diploma or Degree. Full-time role in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- planning, organizing repairs and maintenance of medical equipment;
- Managing medical engineering services;
- supervising, training and developing staff and students on attachment in the workshop;
- Ordering of spare parts and consumables; calibration of equipment;
- Preparing maintenance budgets, organization and planning of purchase of medical equipment/spare parts;
- Providing advice on technical aspects of medical equipment; and
- initiating maintenance and repair of equipment.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in Medical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
- Been registered with the Association of Medical Engineers; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
