Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering plant option or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Three (3) years working experience in maintenance of Industrial Machinery and equipment
- A good understanding knowledge in machines trouble shooting, Condition-based and Preventive maintenance
- Good planning and basic supervisory skills
- Computer literacy and ability to write and interpret technical reports
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret Mechanical engineering drawings

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
General Technical
- Develop efficient and effective preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and machines.
- Undertake preventive maintenance of machines as per laid down instructions and procedures to ensure a smooth running.
- Trouble shooting mechanical equipment and machine failures by inspection and testing and prescribing corrective action and reinstating it back to its working condition.
- Logging details of work performed on data records to enable further action, planning for next service and storage as history.
- Inspection of machines operations and recording of data such as pressures, temperatures etc. to ascertain smooth operation or service requirements.
- Inspecting and oiling/ greasing of machines to ensure smooth running of moving parts.
Maintenance Costs Management
- Ensure accurate stock management of spares and consumables.
- Initiating purchase requisition for machine spare parts for maintenance.
- Monitor utility usage on a weekly basis & control any deviation.
- Coordinating with other maintenance team for proper work performance
- Adherence to PM schedule.
Controls and Record Keeping
- Logging details of work performed on data records to enable further action, planning for next service and storage as history.
- Raising of spares through SAP
- Updating electrical equipment ledger
- Updating of PM schedule
Safety Health and Environment (SHE), Food Safety & PaTaMu
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance related SHE & PaTaMu actions.
- Report all quality and food safety issues that maybe encountered during daily operations.
- Ensure external contractors are properly inducted on safety, health and environment matters.
- Any other duty that maybe assigned.
