We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to head the engineering and facilities department for a premium hotel property in Nairobi!
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years as an Engineer or Maintenance Professional in hospitality
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business Admin, or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations: Oversee all preventive & corrective maintenance across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and pool systems.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and roster the technical team; handle performance reviews and promote a safety-first culture.
- Financial Control: Set the departmental budget, manage P&L, handle vendor documentation, and manage CAPEX projects.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce OSHA, HACCP, and local Kenyan environmental guidelines regarding waste disposal and resource management.
