Link2Care is a social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to advancing maternal healthcare in Kenya. We provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality ultrasound and point-of-care testing (POCT) services to underserved communities, ensuring that no mother is left behind.

We currently collaborate with 30+ health facilities across Nairobi, reaching almost 1,000 expectant mothers in low-income communities with essential antenatal care services and health education. By combining innovation with compassion, we aim to close the maternal health gap and build healthier futures for mothers and their babies.

As our locum nurse, provide high-quality nursing care on a temporary basis by supporting outreach activities, ensuring clinical excellence, patient-centred service, and compliance with Health Reach Diagnostics standards and protocols. You’ll be on the frontline of shaping how expectant mothers.

  • Support the team in the outreach activities by performing high-quality nursing care.
  • Conduct patient assessments: monitor vital signs, triage patients, and perform bedside care.
  • Document clinical interventions, maintain accurate patient records, and handover information between shifts
  • Assist in consultations, rounds, health education, and patient/family support. Record all medical activities (e.g., prescriptions, lab results) in patient cards and registration books for continuity of care.
  • Supervise junior staff and participate in on-call duties or campaigns as required.
  • Generate reports, manage inventories, and engage in continuous education or training as provided by Health Reach.
  • Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years’ practical experience (hospital or diagnostic center preferred).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong ethical values and patient-centered approach.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
