Legal Officer Job Progressive Credit
Legal Jobs, Progressive Credit Jobs. Responsible for providing legal support, reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing legal matters affecting the organisation. Requires a relevant qualification in Law and professional registration, with strong legal research, skills. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all debt recovery through legal processes is handled in the best interest of the company and its customers and that the recovery process is well effected and supported;
- Review and vet all legal costs and settle the same promptly
- Ensuring service providers serve the company in the most cost-effective manner
- Contracting and Review of Legal documents for business and support units

- Handle all internal legal administrative tasks as may be allocated from time to time.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB), Post Graduate Diploma in Law
- At least two years’ practical working experience in microfinance.
- Excellent people management skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with good report writing skills
