Lecturers at Chuka University. Responsible for teaching students, developing course materials, conducting research, and supervising academic work. Requires a relevant Master’s or PhD qualification and university teaching or research experience. The role is based in Chuka with duties performed on-site.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

• Hold a Master’s degree in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized university.
• A PhD in the relevant area of specialization will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrate relevant teaching experience at university level and, where applicable, possess relevant professional and/or industry experience.
• Demonstrate evidence of scholarly, research and/or professional engagement relevant to the area of specialization.
• Meet the applicable requirements of the Commission for University Education (CUE) and other relevant regulatory and professional bodies.
• Where applicable, hold current registration with, or membership of, the relevant
• professional or regulatory body

TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT

Successful candidates will be engaged as Part-Time Lecturers on a need basis, depending on teaching requirements and course availability.

Remuneration will be paid at the University’s approved rates for Part-Time Lecturers.
