Teaching Jobs. TEAU Jobs. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – School of Education & Social Sciences delivering lectures and supervising student research, requiring a PhD in the relevant field with 2-3 years university teaching experience for Lecturer level, in an academic environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Engage in active research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic advising, and university service.
- Mentor students and contribute to the overall intellectual life of the university.
Minimum Requirements
- A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. (Master’s degree holders with significant teaching experience and ongoing PhD studies may be considered for Tutorial Fellow positions.)
- At least 2–3 years of university teaching experience for Lecturer level; 5+ years for Senior Lecturer.
- Proven track record of research and publications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and digital literacy skills.
