Qualifications
For appointment to this grade
a candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Law (with a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and admission as an advocate on the High Court of Kenya), Land Economics, Land Survey or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: –
- Receiving and recording applications for land registration;
- Processing of land title searches;
- Verifying land registration documents;
- Capturing data for land registration purposes;
- Verifying scanned titles and other related documents;
- Processing applications for Land Control Board consents; and
- Collecting information on public complaints on land registration matters
