Laboratory Technician Job Aggregates Africa

Job description:

• Collect and test samples of raw materials.
• Conduct physical tests.
• Conduct chemical tests.
• Perform wet chemistry.
• Calibrate and operate lab equipment’s.
• Record all test results.
• Flag out-of-spec results to Lab Manager
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports.
• Maintain proper sample storage.
• Participate in audits.
• Follow all HSE procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant lab operations requirement.
• Suggest improvement methods.
• Monitor reagent and consumable stock
• And any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Chemical engineering/Analytical chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Applied chemistry or an equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cement laboratory testing.
• Previous experience with cement will be an added advantage.
