Lab Technician Job Baker Hughes
Technician Jobs, Baker Hughes Jobs. Lab Technician conducts chemical analysis of drilling fluids, tests oilfield fluid samples, and maintains laboratory equipment standards, requires a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering and 2+ years of laboratory testing experience.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the design and development of products and their interaction with the human body.
Responsibilities
- Applying of scientific research and development in a lab environment
- Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
- Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
- Working together with people from the business unit. Specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.
- Communicating with direct team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s from an accredited university or college
- Have experience in Engineering/Technology
- Have experience working in a laboratory setting
- Be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Energy/Power industry
