Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, seeks to recruit an experienced Key Accounts Manager to take full ownership of the company’s marketing, trade marketing, and merchandising strategy. The role is critical in bringing merchandising and market execution in-house, strengthening brand presence, driving market penetration, and improving route-to-market effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing and trade-marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Strengthen brand visibility, consistency, and equity across all channels.
- Lead product positioning, pricing support initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee ATL, BTL, and digital marketing initiatives relevant to FMCG markets.
- Establish, structure, and manage an internal merchandising function.
- Define merchandising standards, KPIs, execution guidelines, and reporting frameworks.
- Drive effective in-store execution, including planograms, visibility materials, product placement, and promotions.
- Ensure optimal execution across general trade, modern trade, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Work closely with Sales and Distribution teams to align marketing initiatives with route-to-market strategies.
- Support new market entries, product launches, and regional roll-outs.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Manage and evaluate external agencies and service providers.
- Transition outsourced capabilities to internal teams.
- Ensure cost efficiency and measurable ROI.
- Track and analyze marketing and merchandising performance metrics.
- Prepare performance reports for senior management.
- Use insights to refine strategy.
- Develop and manage the marketing and trade-marketing budget.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience
7–10 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing marketing.
Strong trade marketing and merchandising exposure.
Experience managing internal teams and distributor-led markets.
