Junior Legal Counsel Job Mitchell Cotts Nairobi, Kenya
Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts, leases, and other legal instruments.
- Support legal risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Draft legal advisory opinions.
- Maintain litigation and commercial matters databases.
- Provide guidance on employment-related legal matters across the company and its subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university.
- Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current Practising Certificate.
- At least 3 years’ post-admission experience in a busy commercial law firm or legal department.
- Experience in corporate and commercial law, employment law, and data privacy.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the legal aspects of logistics and supply chain is an added advantage.
