Job Title: IT Support Officer / IT Administrator
Location: 3rd Parklands, Nairobi (Occasional site visits required)
Salary: KES 45,000 – 50,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Officer to manage and strengthen our IT infrastructure across both office and project sites. The role will focus on ensuring seamless technology operations, safeguarding systems and data, and supporting our employees with reliable IT solutions. This position requires a balnce of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support – Provide timely, first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Systems & Infrastructure Management – Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, servers, and networks to ensure stability and reliability.
  • ERP Administration – Support and administer the company ERP (Odoo), providing
  • Security & Monitoring – Manage CCTV systems for office and project sites; monitor and report irregularties to ensure site security.
  • Workforce Systems – Oversee biometric attendance systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of staff attendance.
  • user support and ensuring system uptime and efficiency.
  • IT Asset & Inventory Management – Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring accountability and proper utilization.
  • Cybersecurity & Data Protection – Implement security measures, manage access controls, and perform regular backups to safeguard company data.
  • Vendor Management – Coordinate with external IT service providers for technical support, upgrades, and system improvements.
  • Staff Training & IT Awareness – Deliver user training and awareness sessions to improve IT literacy across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and recommend technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with business needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of IT support experience, preferably in a corporate, real estate, or construction environment.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ERP platforms (Odoo preferred)
    • Networking, hardware troubleshoting, and software configuration
    • CCTV systems and biometric attendance management
  • Strong background in IT asset management and systems administration.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
