The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing design projects, while also ensuring that all aspects of cost estimation and budgeting are effectively managed. This role is perfect for someone who can blend design flair with financial acumen to deliver beautiful and cost-effective spaces.

  • Develop interior design concepts and detailed plans tailored to client needs, style preferences, and functionality.
  • Prepare design presentations using mood boards, layouts, and 3D renderings.
  • Conduct site assessments and space planning to determine client requirements.
  • Estimate project costs, materials, and timelines using quantity surveying principles.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring designs remain within financial limits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Source and select furniture, finishes, and materials aligned with design and budget goals.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with design specifications and timelines.
  • Advise clients on cost-effective alternatives and design optimization.
  • Provide post-installation follow-up and snag list resolution where necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in interior design with practical knowledge of quantity surveying.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Archicard or similar.
  • Strong grasp of construction costing, project estimation, and budgeting.
  • Excellent design and visualization skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple client projects.
