Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain the institution’s network infrastructure including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime. •Manage ICT assets, servers, and computers; perform regular maintenance and hardware/software upgrades. •Provide timely technical support and helpdesk assistance to staff and students on hardware, software, and network systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of ICT systems, software licences, and operational procedures. •Support e-learning management systems (LMS) and school management systems (ERP) •Develop and maintain ICT disaster recovery, data backup, and business continuity plans.
- Train staff and students on effective and secure use of ICT resources.
- Maintain the organization’s website and other digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in an ICT role.
- Demonstrated background in networking.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware (Huawei, Cisco, MikroTik, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and data protection best practices. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Added Advantage:
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA or equivalent.
