ICT Officer III Job Elgeyo Marakwet CPSB
IT Jobs, Elgeyo Marakwet CPSB Jobs. Responsible for writing and testing simple computer programs, supporting the implementation of computer systems, providing user support and training, repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and peripherals, monitoring equipment performance, and reporting technical faults for further action. Requires a KCSE mean grade of C Plain with at least C- in Mathematics and English/Kiswahili, plus a Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. The position is based in Iten and requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include writing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications; assisting in the implementation of the computer systems; providing user support and training of users; repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals; monitoring the performance of ICT equipment’s; and reporting any faults for further action.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer MUST have:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least a C- in mathematics and English /Kiswahili or its approved equivalent
- Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
