IT Jobs, Elgeyo Marakwet CPSB Jobs. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, analysing system requirements, troubleshooting software issues, managing databases, and supporting digital solutions. Requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. The position is based in Iten and requires on-site work.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: –
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology, Information systems, business information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated professional competence
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A member of an industry related professional body
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language ( e.g. Java, C#, Python)
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)
- Solid understanding of relational database (e.g MySQL, Postgres SQL, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology like Agile or Scrum
- Experience with web services and API development (REST, SOAP) is highly desirable
