Key Responsibilities
Professors will:
- Provide academic leadership and mentor students and staff
- Lead innovative research and secure external funding
- Design academic programmes and learning outcomes
- Develop teaching materials and lab manuals
- Supervise postgraduate theses, internships, and research
- Collaborate with industry for knowledge transfer and commercialization
- Disseminate research outputs locally and globally
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD in a relevant field from a recognized university
- Have 5+ years as Associate Professor or 9+ years research experience
- Have 60+ publications (40 in refereed journals)
- Supervised 10+ PhD students and 5+ Master’s students
- Demonstrate innovation and, where applicable, registered patents
- Be a member of a relevant professional body
- Be proficient in ICT tools and meet Chapter 6 requirements of the Constitution of Kenya
