ICT Consultant NGO Job GBM

Purpose of the Assignment

The Green Belt Movement seeks to engage a qualified and experienced Information, Communication and Technology Consultant to provide ongoing technical support and management of the organization’s information technology systems and infrastructure. The consultant will ensure that GBM’s ICT environment remains secure, efficient, reliable and responsive to the needs of staff and operations.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience providing ICT support and consultancy services.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity and server administration.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in organizational environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services and backup systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to user needs.
• Professional certifications in relevant ICT disciplines will be an added advantage.
