Human Resource Consultant Job (40K)

Our client is a real estate brand in Nairobi, redefining the property experience for high-end and off-plan investors across Africa, with a strong media presence and an ambition to lead through storytelling. To support its growth and organizational structure, the company is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to oversee core human resource functions including recruitment, contract management, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process: job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Draft and update employment contracts in line with labor laws and company policies
- Develop, implement, and regularly review HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Advise management on employment legislation and HR best practices
- Support performance management processes and recommend improvements
- Maintain up-to-date HR documentation and personnel files
- Handle employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
- Assist in structuring roles, teams, and reporting lines to support business growth
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a consulting or real estate environment
- Solid knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR compliance requirements
- Strong drafting and documentation skills (especially contracts and policies)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and advisory skills
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Membership with IHRM or a relevant professional body is an added advantage
