Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding;
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including succession and workforce planning;
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements while advising management on HR best practices;
- Advise senior management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational culture change
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity;
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization;
- Lead and support internal training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement;
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management (a master’s degree is an added advantage);
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience;
- Membership with IHRM;
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and experience with HRIS systems;
- Proven experience in leading large and cross-border teams;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
