Head of Q Commerce Job Glovo
Sales & Marketing Jobs, Glovo Jobs. Head of Q Commerce drives q-commerce strategy and darkstore expansion, requires a Business Degree and 6+ years retail/e-commerce experience. Full-time role in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- Be the owner of Q-Commerce P&Ls (Groceries, retail & darkstore business units)
- Define the medium and long-term strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets for the country
- Build and maintain relationships with the top retail & grocery partners in the country
- Lead the commercial team to onboard new partners on our platform and the account management team to make active partners grow
- Establish a strong working partnerships with our partners grounded on sustainable economics for both parties, renegotiating contracts where necessary
- Grow our darkstore network in a sustainable way
- Improve operational efficiency of our partners and our darkstores by making sure we always deliver the best service to our customers.
- Get feedback from our partners and work with your counterparts to translate it into product, marketing and operations improvement
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (FMCG, retail, startups, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
- Experience in owning a full P&L
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across different departments
- Be driven to build a business from scratch, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
- Ability to hire, manage and retain a top talent team
- Experience in understanding retail business, as well as revenue dynamics and drivers.
- Know how to negotiate and build your way into a super deal with big retail players
- Data-driven mentality: takes decision based on data and makes business judgment when necessary
- Ability to find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
