Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Individualized Education Program located in Kenya. The role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students. The Head of IEP will collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to ensure each student receives appropriate support and accommodations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, training staff on IEP processes, and serving as a liaison between the educational institution and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Special Education, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and inclusive teaching methodologies
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in analyzing data, developing strategies, and tracking student progress
• Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and compliance guidelines related to special education
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external professionals
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Prior experience in managing Individualized Education Programs or in a related leadership role
