Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef, located in Nakuru, Kenya. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, developing menus, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes, and managing kitchen staff. Day-to-day tasks will include maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, ordering supplies, managing food costs, and training junior chefs. The Head Chef will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality meals.

  • Culinary expertise, Food Preparation, and Menu Development skills
  • Experience in Kitchen Management and Staff Supervision
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene Standards
  • Inventory Management and Supply Ordering skills
  • Excellent Time Management and Organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Formal Culinary Training or relevant certifications are preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role at a reputable establishment is a plus
