The Opportunity:
Bio Food is looking for a dependable and prudent Finance Manager to lead and manage the finance operations function by ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, compliance, working capital management, treasury oversight, and operational finance governance. The Finance Manager is heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the company accounts with the responsibility of making observations of the financial state of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports giving insights on business performance.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and tax filings.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA/K or ACCA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 7–10 years cumulative experience working in Finance in a busy commercial environment.
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in the FMCG/manufacturing industry.
