Customers make small down payments followed by manageable daily or weekly payments until they own the solar unit outright within about a year. Our high-quality solar systems come with a quality guarantee and include lamps, mobile phone charging, a radio, a flashlight, and a portable lantern. As customers build a reliable credit history with Solar Panda, they can easily upgrade to TVs and other appliances.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Sales Agent located in Nandi County, Kenya. The Field Sales Agent will be responsible for promoting and selling Solar Panda’s solar power solutions to individuals and small businesses. Key duties include engaging with potential customers in the community, demonstrating the benefits of our solar systems, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with the installation and training processes. Maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our products is also critical.
Qualifications
- Field Service experience
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency in Sales and Training techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Fluent in both English and Kiswahili
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sales or marketing is a plus
