About The Role
Our client, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee the design and production process, collaborate closely with the tailor, manage stock, guide customers on fashion choices, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Create fashion designs and sketches
- Develop clothing concepts based on market trends and customer needs
- Work hand in hand with the tailor to ensure accurate garment production
- Supervise and manage the production process
- Monitor fabric and stock inventory levels
- Assist customers with styling and outfit selection
- Provide image consulting and fashion advice
- Ensure quality control throughout the production cycle
- Maintain updated knowledge of fashion trends and materials
- Use design software and tools for creating and editing designs
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Proven experience in fashion design and garment production
- Proficiency in fashion design tools and software
- Strong sketching and illustration skills
- Excellent creativity and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and garment construction
- Stock and inventory management experience
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Fashion styling and image consulting expertise
