Reporting To: Unit General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with marketing, prepare annual entertainment events calendars and promotional and marketing plans for outlets.
- Sourcing, planning, and facilitation of team-building events for the resort guests and staff monthly.
- In charge of developing the Kids club’s annual revenue-generating strategy.
- Creation of monthly kids party themes and following up on logistics for the events.
- Creation of entertainment department schedules and checklists to ensure all duties are allocated and follow-up made to conclude appropriately.
- To identify and facilitate training for the animation team in areas relevant to their operations.
- Plan and set up festive programs on a periodic basis.
- Assist in setting up and managing the entertainment budget by ensuring cost control on entertainment operating equipment through strict inventory, consistent spot checks and regular maintenance to minimize wastage.
- Negotiating entertainment contracts and fees
- Come up with attractive itineraries for school groups.
- Ensure that the kids’ clubs and activities brands maintain a competitive advantage over our competitors.
- To create, develop, and set up new activities and programs for adults, teens, and kids.
- Perform other duties as assigned. E.g., Duty Management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Certifications in First Aid, lifeguard training, or safety & risk management are a plus.
- Courses in leadership, recreation management, or customer service are an added advantage.
- 5 years’ experience in entertainment, event coordination.
- Previous experience leading a team of animators, performers, or activity coordinators.
- Background in performance arts, sports/recreational activities, or guest engagement is highly advantageous.
