ECDE Headteacher Job Bata Limuru, Kenya

Bata Shoe Company Kenya PLC operates the Bata Nursery School, which provides quality early childhood education for children within our community. We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and qualified ECDE Head Teacher to join our team and contribute to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the school.
• Ensure effective implementation of the ECDE curriculum and high standards of teaching and learning.
• Supervise, mentor, and support teaching and support staff.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.
• Manage school records, budgets, and resources efficiently.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate school activities, events, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant education policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood development education, Education, or a related field.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• At least seven (7) years’ experience in a school leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of the ECDE curriculum and current education practices.
