The role is responsible for facilitating seamless platform and partner integrations, ensuring high-quality payment solutions across our products. This role identifies opportunities for system enhancements, supports feature development, and guarantees scheme and regulatory compliance. The specialist will play a key part in quality assurance, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues while working closely with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain integrations with payment platforms and partners, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing operations.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for system and process enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of payment solutions.
  • Support the implementation of new product features related to payments, collaborating with product teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with payment scheme rules and relevant regulatory requirements, proactively monitoring for changes and implementing necessary updates.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for integrations and payment features, ensuring robust performance and a seamless user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements, resolve technical challenges, and support product launches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications related to specific areas of the role e.g. project management, testing, compliance etc. would be an advantage.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or related technology environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payment platforms, partner integrations, quality assurance processes, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
