Dispatch Assistant Job NID Logistics
Logistics Jobs. NID Logistics Jobs. Dispatch Assistant coordinating daily dispatch and shipment movements, preparing waybills and manifests and tracking deliveries, requiring a diploma, certificate or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business, 1-2 years dispatch or logistics experience and ERP system proficiency, in a logistics environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch and shipment movements.
- Prepare and verify waybills, manifests and dispatch documentation.
- Track shipments and follow up on delivery status.
- Coordinate with drivers, branches and customers.
- Ensure accurate recording and updating of shipment information.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and PODS.
- Support timely resolution of dispatch and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and reports.
Requirements
- Moving People, Goods and Opportunities Across Kenya
- Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field. 1-2 years’ experience in dispatch/logistics is an added advantage.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of waybills, manifests, PODs and shipment tracking is an advantage.
