Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Victory Farms Kenya. You will play a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, handling, sorting, storage, and dispatch of fish and feeds in line with company procedures.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper handling and storage of products, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. You will also support stock control activities and ensure all warehouse operations are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
This is a hands-on operational role for someone who is organized, dependable, and attentive to detail. Your commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and teamwork will be essential in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and the effective movement of products across Victory Farms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store fish stock in accordance with Victory Farms warehouse procedures.
- Assist in receiving and dispatching fish feeds, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
- Verify stock against delivery notes and promptly report any discrepancies.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage practices to maintain product quality and safety.
- Support crate handling, returns processing, and maintain smooth stock flow.
- Participate in routine stock counts and cycle counts as directed by the warehouse team.
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse through sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and general hygiene practices.
- Perform heavy cleaning tasks and support special projects when required.
- Adhere to Victory Farms’ health, safety, hygiene, and security standards at all times.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Associate or Warehouse Management Team
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum KCSE (Form 4) completion with at least a D- (minus) grade or above.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move stock safely.
- Good communication skills and a positive work attitude
