Director of Physical Planning Job Kisumu CPSB

Architecture Jobs, Kisumu CPSB Jobs. Responsible for preparing and implementing physical and land use plans, processing development applications, conducting planning studies, advising on development control matters, maintaining planning records, and supporting sustainable urban and regional development. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, or a related field, with professional membership and registration as a physical planner The position is based in Kisumu and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

For appointment to this position a candidate must: Be a citizen of Kenya;

• Have served in the grade of Assistant Director, Physical Planning for period of three (3) years;
• Hold a Bachelors Degree in any of the following: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a University recognized in Kenya;
• Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a University recognized in Kenya
• Be a corporate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter) and in good standing;
• Be registered by the Physical Planners Registration Board;
• Be in possession of at least Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
•  Demonstrate managerial, leadership and professional competence in work performance and results; and
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
