Director – ICT Job Makueni CPSB

IT Jobs, Makueni CPSB Jobs.Responsible for overseeing ICT operations, developing technology strategies, managing IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring data security, and leading digital transformation across county departments. Requires a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Makueni.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology; Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, Data Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent qualification a recognized institution;
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology; Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, Data Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent qualification a recognized institution;
• At least twelve (12) years’ relevant experience in Information Communication Technology, three (3) of which must be in a senior management position in public or private sector.
• Attended a Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution;
• Demonstrated a high level of competence and outstanding management qualities in computerized information systems; and
• A thorough understanding of the national goals and objectives and the ability to interpret and apply them to the computing management concepts.
