Marell Academy is seeking to recruit a competent, visionary and highly disciplined Deputy Headteacher to join our growing institution in delivering quality education and holistic learner development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Headteacher in the overall management and administration of the school.
• Provide academic leadership and ensure effective implementation of the CBC/CBE curriculum.
• Supervise teaching staff and monitor curriculum delivery.
• Coordinate learner discipline, guidance and counselling programmes.
• Ensure proper lesson planning, assessment and record keeping.
• Promote co-curricular activities and learner talent development.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation within the school.
• Support effective communication between the school, parents and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognised institution.
• Must be registered with the (TSC).
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably in a CBC/CBE environment.
• Experience in school administration or leadership position will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of CBC/CBE curriculum implementation and assessment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity and ability to work under minimal supervision.
