Dental Assistant Job Equity Afia

Responsible for supporting dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, assisting during dental procedures, maintaining cleanliness and infection prevention standards, supporting patient care, and ensuring dental equipment and supplies are ready for use. Requires a Diploma in Dental Assisting or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution, with at least two years’ experience. The position is based in Thika and requires on-site work.
Qualifications
- At least two years (2) of working experience as a Dental Assistant in a Dental Unit.
- Diploma in Dental Assisting or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Skills required:
- Proficient computer skills for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with the medical team and patient interaction.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize workload.
