Job Summary

The main purpose of the job within the supply chain is to use forecasting tools and business stock trends to understand the demand for Healthy U 2000 Ltd products. The job holder will need to plan to strike the balance between having sufficient stock levels to meet demand without having surplus. This role works within the larger team and shares the responsibility for success and profitability by providing services to our internal customers which may include retail, warehouse, logistics and procurement.

  • Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.
  • Analyze sales, stock levels, and other data to identify demand patterns and trends.
  • Collect data from internal and external sources that influence demand, such as promotions, vendor updates, and production delays.
  • Work closely with sales, customers, logistics, procurement, and Business Intelligence teams to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to meet customer demand during constrained supply periods.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels based on projected customer demand.
  • Address demand-related inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance demand planning systems, tools, and processes to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up, validate, and cross-check offer and discount activations across all branches.
  • Verify and cross-check the Negative Gross Profit (GP) report and escalate discrepancies.
  • Compile and verify the declared short-expiry report for each branch.
  • Maintain the promotional offer master list and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Compile, allocate, and seek approval for promotional offer pricing.
  • Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Excellent database (SAP) and Excel skills.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate numbers and data into reliable insights.
  • Understanding of seasonality and peak demand times.
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
