Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with the flexibility for some remote work.
- As a Credit Manager, you will oversee the credit application and approval process to ensure sound credit risk management practices.
- Your daily responsibilities will include assessing credit applications, analyzing financial data, formulating credit strategies, collaborating with lending partners, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- You will also implement and refine policies to maintain portfolio quality while providing exceptional customer service to students and lending partners.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management practices
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial and credit information
- Knowledge of Finance and Credit principles, including loan structuring
- Ability to make data-informed decisions and recommend credit strategies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in credit or financial analysis roles, preferably in the education financing sector
- Familiarity with international lending practices and regulatory requirements is an advantage
