  • Real Thrift is hiring a Content & Operations Assistant to remove the bottlenecks slowing down weekly product drops and consistent content output.
  • Your core mission: prep inventory, create and shoot content, listing items, manage posting/DMs, and keep weekly drops running smoothly.
  • You will take full ownership of the content assembly line and customer operations so the founder can focus on sourcing, strategy, and scaling.

R2: Responsibilities (Clear, Tactical, Weekly Cadence)

  • Weekly On-Site (1 day – most likely on Sundays)
  • Prepare inventory (ironing, styling, arranging outfits, selecting pieces for the week’s drop)
  • Shoot content: product photos, flatlays, reels, styling videos, try-ons
  • Coordinate background setups, visual layout, props
  • Pack orders for last week’s drop and take them for delivery
  • Model items when needed (or direct the founder)

Remote Work (Rest of Week)

  • Edit content (videos/photos)
  • Prepare and schedule posts (Instagram + website listings)
  • Write captions that match brand tone
  • Manage all DMs, customer inquiries, order confirmations
  • Update drop documents: what is shot, what is edited, posting schedule
  • Track what has sold, what needs relisting, and restock notes

R3: Requirements

  • MUST be proactive and able to work independently
  • Creative eye for styling, aesthetics, and trends
  • Able to edit short-form videos quickly
  • Social-media savvy (especially Instagram and tiktok)
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with light physical work (ironing, sorting, packing)
  • Lives within reach of the founder’s location (for weekly on-site days)

R4: Results / KPIs

  • The role is successful when these measurable outputs are consistently hit:
  • 1 fully prepared and shot content batch every Sunday
  • Minimum 14 edited pieces of content weekly
  • 100% of weekly drop posted on time
  • DMs responded within 1–2 hours during working periods
  • Orders packed and delivered within promised timelines
  • 0 missed drop days
  • Content style and quality consistent with Real Thrift branding
  • Communication & Cadence
  • Sunday = on-site production day
  • Monday–Saturday = remote editing + DM/operations
  • Must be reachable online at agreed hours (to be set)
  • Uses a shared Notion/Google Drive board for task tracking
