Our client, a reputable global investment firm, is seeking to hire a dynamic and commercially driven Commercial Manager to lead revenue growth and strategic business expansion initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, particularly within government institutions, strengthening strategic partnerships, and overseeing debt collection operations to ensure optimal recovery performance.
The role requires an all-round commercial professional with strong experience in debt collection, proven business development capability, and a rich network within government and corporate sectors.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in debt collection and supply of products/services, particularly within government institutions.
  • Leverage existing networks to establish and grow strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee and optimize debt collection processes to maximize recovery rates and portfolio performance.
  • Lead high-level negotiations, contract structuring, and closure of large-scale agreements.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional and corporate clients.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform strategic positioning.
  • Supervise and mentor commercial and collections teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Prepare commercial forecasts, revenue projections, and management reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in commercial management or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience generating business within government institutions.
  • Strong understanding of debt recovery frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value contracts.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Rich network within government and corporate sectors.
  • Leadership and team management capability.
