Communication Jobs, D&R Studios Jobs. Responsible for supporting film projects, developing creative content, assisting with filming and production activities, preparing communication materials, managing digital content, coordinating production teams, and supporting storytelling projects. Requires a relevant qualification in Film, Media, Communication, Journalism, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring a distinct visual style and mood to diverse projects (documentaries, TV, digital and branded content).
  • Work with DaVinci Resolve or similar colour grading tools.
  • Balance technical precision with creative storytelling.
  • Collaborate with editors, directors and the post production team.
  • Manage colour pipelines, LUTs and consistency across deliverables.
  • Meet deadlines and adapt to different formats and platforms (SDR, HDR, web, broadcast).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a colorist with a strong portfolio (narrative, documentary or commercial work).
  • Expertise in DaVinci Resolve (preferred) or equivalent software.
  • A strong artistic eye for colour, contrast, mood and visual consistency.
  • Understanding of workflows from offline to online, including delivery specs for different platforms.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for visual storytelling and a commitment to creating work that drives real impact.
  • Curiosity, reliability and a positive team spirit.
