Claims Representative – IOH Job Cigna, Nairobi, Kenya
Job Summary
- As a Claims Representative, you will assess, process, and adjust medical claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and service level commitments.
- Reporting to the Claims Supervisor, you will work closely with global colleagues to deliver excellent customer outcomes and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and process medical claims accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate data entry across multiple systems.
- Apply analytical thinking and sound judgment when evaluating claims.
- Manage workload effectively while meeting quality and productivity targets.
- Escalate complex or unclear claims as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders.
- Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive medical information.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English.
- Additional languages such as French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, or Arabic are an advantage.
