We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Centrix Africa into its next phase of growth and market leadership. This is a pivotal role for a strategic leader who can combine deep technological expertise with commercial acumen to scale our impact across Africa. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in the technology sector, with specific experience in fintech, datacenter solutions, SaaS, and payments (including mobile money). You will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction, driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and building a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate strategy that accelerates growth, expands market share, and solidifies Centrix Africa’s position as an industry leader. Translate strategic vision into actionable, measurable plans with clear accountability.
• Technology & Product Vision: Leverage deep technical knowledge to guide the company’s product roadmap, technology stack decisions, and service offerings. Ensure our solutions in fintech, SaaS, payments, and data infrastructure remain cutting-edge and competitive.
• Financial & Operational Stewardship: Hold full P&L responsibility. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Implement robust financial and operational controls to ensure sustainable scaling.
• Business Development & Client Relations: Serve as the primary ambassador for the company. Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with key financial institutions, enterprises, and technology partners across Africa. Deepen existing client relationships and identify new market opportunities.
• Innovation & Market Adaptation: Foster a culture of continuous innovation. Anticipate market trends, regulatory changes, and technological disruptions in the African fintech and digital landscape, adapting company strategy proactively.
• Team Leadership & Organizational Development: Attract, mentor, and retain top talent. Build a strong, cohesive executive team and promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CEO, COO, MD, or in a similar senior executive leadership role within a technology-driven company.
• Mandatory strong technology background, with direct, hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains: Fintech Solutions, Data Center/Cloud Infrastructure, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Payment Systems (including mobile money).
• A demonstrable track record of successfully developing and executing business strategies that have resulted in significant growth and market penetration.
• Deep understanding of the African business environment, particularly the financial services and technology sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and complex contracts.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and engage with board members, investors, and clients at the highest level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable.
