Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to KCSE and CBC requirements.
  • Prepare learners for internal and national examinations, ensuring consistent value addition.
  • Set, mark, analyze, and provide feedback on assessments.
  • Implement CBC pedagogy, including continuous assessment and learner support.
  • Track learner progress and implement academic interventions.
  • Maintain professional teaching records and comply with TSC, KNEC, and KICD guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and pastoral support to learners.
  • Participate in departmental, co-curricular, and school programmes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • TSC registered and active (mandatory).
  • At least five (5) years of continuous teaching experience at secondary school level.
  • Proven track record of excellent performance in KCSE, with clear evidence of value addition.
  • KNEC Examiner status will be a distinct added advantage.
  • CBC trained, with demonstrable understanding of competency-based pedagogy, assessment, and learner support.
  • Strong classroom management skills, learner-centered teaching approach, and commitment
