Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process patient bills for both inpatient and services
- Handle insurance billing, pre-authorizations, claims submission, and follow-ups
- Ensure accurate capture of services, drugs, procedures, and consumables
- Liaise with insurance companies, corporate clients, and internal departments
- Reconcile daily billing reports and support revenue tracking
- Address billing inquiries from patients and insurers professionally
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Records, or a related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in hospital or healthcare billing
- Strong understanding of medical insurance processes and claim management
- Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS) and billing software
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Added Advantage
- Experience working in a Level 4 hospital
- Knowledge of major insurance providers in Kenya
