Beef Production Manager Job Kenchic

Agricultural Jobs. Kenchic Jobs. Beef Production Manager managing meat processing operations, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science with 7+ years experience in the meat industry and 5+ years in management, in a food processing environment, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise with the food safety team leader on audit plans and inspections, follow up on all issues raised in audits and inspection reports and resolve them.
• Receive customer feedback, conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective action as needed to improve customer satisfaction.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives on the production floor.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards (Food safety standards) and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, manage and develop a high performing team.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in food science and technology and any other relevant degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of over 7 years work experience in meat industry, of which 5 years in a management role in meat processing.
• Full understanding of FSSC 22000 Audits and GMP’s
• Experience in managing teams
• Demonstrable commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience in using ERP systems is desirable.
• Experience in retail meat business
