Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Bar Man to join our team. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience working in a bar, with proven skills in preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service. This role demands strong drink knowledge, speed, accuracy, and the ability to engage positively with guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to set standards.
- Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide professional bar service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management when stock replenishment is needed.
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service.
- Recommend and upsell premium drinks and bar promotions.
- Ensure correct use and regular cleaning of all bar tools and equipment.
- Manage customer complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and other departments for smooth service flow.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage is an added advantage.
- Must have at least 1–2 years of verifiable experience working specifically in a bar.
- Strong knowledge of drink preparation, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Competencies:
- Ability to interact warmly and professionally with guests.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, especially during peak hours.
- High level of accuracy in order-taking and drink preparation.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and bar presentation standards.
- Ability to calmly handle pressure and resolve guest concerns professionally.
