Role Summary
The Associate Manager – Analytics is responsible for handling the data analysis and database management for the Commercial team. The role holder is also responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of the business/function.
Responsibilities
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.
- Compile and properly store all the data pertaining to International Merchandising & Sourcing departments.
- Extract data in response to incoming data requests and ensure consistency and accuracy of data.
- Suggest ways to increase the capacity and enhance the efficiency of the strategic databases.
- Monitor sourcing data to ensure the objectives are achieved, analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history and inform relevant stakeholders.
- Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.
- Develop and review vendors/competitors pricing and provide it to the merchandising and sourcing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics preferred.
- 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in as a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role .
- Strong experience managing e-commerce / Data / digital marketing .
- Expert in SQL, Advanced Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.) .
- Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc) .
- Ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data .
