Our client is a leading real estate and property development company with a reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. They are seeking to engage a creative, innovative, and detail-oriented Architect to join their dynamic team and contribute to designing and executing landmark projects.
The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing projects from inception to completion while ensuring functionality, creativity, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design processes from concept development to detailed working drawings.
- Engage clients to understand their vision and translate it into practical, functional, and innovative designs.
- Prepare feasibility studies, site analysis, and design proposals.
- Supervise project implementation to ensure designs are executed within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Review, approve, and update architectural plans and drawings where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, statutory requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Research and implement sustainable design trends, materials, and technology.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s is an added advantage).
- Registered Architect with the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).
- 5–8 years’ professional experience in architecture and project execution.
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and innovation.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
