Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Agri Drone Pilot role located in Kajiado & Kitui Counties, Kenya. The Agri Drone Pilot will be responsible for operating drones to perform data collection tasks in agricultural fields. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-flight inspections, handling drones during operations, maintaining UAV equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and providing training and support to farmers on drone applications in agriculture.
This role also offers hands-on experience with UAV operations, Remote Sensing, GIS analysis, and data-driven decision-making within a safety-focused, results-oriented team and would be expected to bring insights from their respective disciplines to provide innovative ways to manage, display and analyse the spatial data to enhance our understanding and management of carbon accumulation in the farmlands.

Qualifications
- Has a valid KCAA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC)
- Experience and proficiency in Drone Piloting, Piloting, and handling UAVs
- Strong knowledge of drones and their applications in agriculture
- Ability to provide training and support on drone operation and usage
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with agricultural stakeholders
- Previous experience in agriculture or a related field is a plus
- Relevant certifications in UAV operation and drone technology are beneficial
- Ability and willingness to work in an on-site environment in Kitui & Kajiado Counties, Kenya
